| Hi Everyone – Well, its almost here! Opening Day weekend of SHYC is just two days away! Below, please find reminders of the cadence and schedule for the weekend. Additionally, I have included some important information shared from Fleet Captain Walden relative to the 2024 Rendezvous. Saturday, June 15th 9:00 AM: New Member Breakfast 10:00 AM: Member Breakfast and Opening Day Ceremony 1:00 PM: Afternoon Racing begins note: only the Afternoon series will be heldon Saturday, June 15th due to the Opening Day ceremonies. Please see individual fleet SI’s for more information 6:00 PM: Opening Day Cocktail Party RSVP required Sunday, June 16th 8:00 AM: Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast (All invited…particularly dads!) And other scheduling reminders……. Launch Service is available daily beginning Opening Day. Launch hours are 8:00 am – Sunset. Clubhouse is open daily beginning Opening Day. Clubhouse hours are 8:00 am – Sunset. The Galley is open daily beginning Opening Day. Galley hours are 11:00 am – 3:00pm. And Rendezvous information from Fleet Captain Shane Walden…… Our annual SHYC Mystic Seaport Rendezvous is scheduled for July 20th this summer. We have dock space reserved, but only until JUNE 20th. If you are interested in attending you need to reserve your space by June 20th.
